Loose Leaf Class
Room 100
Loose Leaf Class’s “winter” study (thru March 2023) is The First Christmas: What the Gospels Really Teach About Jesus’ Birth. Authors Marcus Borg and John Dominic Crossan help us see the real Christmas story buried in the familiar Bible accounts. Basing their interpretations on the two nativity narratives in Matthew and Luke, Borg and Crossan focus on the literal story—the inner truth rather than the historical facts—to offer a clear and uplifting message of hope and peace!
Class Coordinators are Vickie & Walter Buenger.

Seekers Class
Church Parlor
Seekers encourage open discussion as they “seek” understanding, knowledge and fellowship while studying together. The class begins the new year with Max Lucado’s You Were Made for This Moment explores how the story of Esther inspires us to step up and stand out for God; then, the class returns to The Story by Randee Frazee—the Bible as one continuing story of God and His people
This class shares, studies, prays, socializes, and cares for each other and others.
Class Leaders vary.

The Word Class
The Word Class incorporates Christian-authored books/DVDs in studying God's word and its applicability in our daily lives. In The Lord’s Prayer: The Meaning and Power of the Prayer Jesus Taught, author Adam Hamilton guides us to really know―and really pray―the Lord’s Prayer. He explores each of its rich lines and their meaning in the Bible, illuminating what we ask of God and what we ask of ourselves through its words. And he teaches us how to use it as a pattern for our own prayer life. All are welcome as we pray, play, learn, work, and care for one another through lively open dialogue.
Glenn Mathews teaches the class.
