The mission of the Senior Adult Ministry is to provide programs and activities to enrich the lives of maturing adults enabling them to enjoy full participation in the life and leadership of the church. Diverse opportunities that cover a wide range of interests for boomers, empty nesters, retirees, and older senior adults are available for the 60+ segment of the church community. For information on any of the activities.
· Prime Time RETURNS!—an opportunity for fellowship during a luncheon held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month in the Church Library. Participants pre-order a delicious meal from a local restaurant identified by the organizers (Congregational Care Committee). Donations are accepted. No agenda, just good conversation over great food to get to know one another better!
· Care Team | Prayer Partners—a ministry in which church members and friends meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 12:30m to pray for those within and beyond our church. Participants also contact through phone calls, cards, and visits, those within our faith community who are place-bound, residing in assisted living facilities or nursing homes, are hospitalized or in bereavement through regular personal visits.
