The mission of the Senior Adult Ministry is to provide programs and activities to enrich the lives of maturing adults enabling them to enjoy full participation in the life and leadership of the church. Diverse opportunities that cover a wide range of interests for boomers, empty nesters, retirees, and older senior adults are available for the 60+ segment of the church community. · Prime Time—provides monthly opportunities for fellowship at a potluck luncheon. Programs vary each month ranging from games to special topic speakers to musical interludes.
Church Ladies—this lively group meets once a month at a different restaurant for fellowship, good food, and lively conversation.· Care Team—a ministry in which adults and senior adults provide visitation to members who are place-bound, residing in assisted living facilities or nursing homes, are hospitalized or in bereavement through regular personal visits. Training and in-service meetings are held monthly.
