I am the Youth Coordinator here at First Presbyterian Church. I hope that, through reading this, you can all learn a little bit about me and why I am so excited to be here!
Some of you may know or recognize me from my time in this church or teaching at Jane Long Intermediate. I am currently a college student at the RELLIS campus in Bryan studying Kinesiology through Tarleton State University. At my previous job at Jane Long Intermediate, I was an Instructional Aide for P.E., and I hope to bring the same fun energy to my new environment that I brought in my time there.
I am so excited to lead the same youth group that I was a part of as a youth throughout high school and middle school. When I was a youth, I went to Mo Ranch every summer, attended Conclaves at Camp Cho-Yeh yearly, attended Triennium, and participated in the Presbyterian Youth Connection Council for three years. In that time, I grew a tremendous amount as a person and in my faith and had a lot of fun along the way.
One of my main goals as Youth Coordinator is to facilitate an experience for each and every youth that is as impactful and fun as possible. I am also very excited to once again get to attend some of my favorite places in the world: Camp ChoYeh and Mo-Ranch. Some of my favorite and most profound memories throughout my teenage years were at those two amazing camps or planning for Conclaves at Camp Cho-Yeh through PYCC.
Lastly, I want to express that I am beyond thrilled to meet everyone and get started on this journey. This is going to be a wonderful time and I sincerely hope that everyone is as excited as I am to get started!
